Valentine's Day at Liwan Restaurant

When we ask people what does Valentine's Day mean to them, we get all sorts of answers. For me, Valentine's Day is the day we give reverence to love and to the ones we chose to give and share it with. It could be to your wife, husband, parents, siblings, pet, plant, partner, or yourself. There's no right or wrong way to feel about Valentine's Day.

So how do we celebrate Valentine's Day? Well, it is always different for me and Ferald every time. It could be a dinner date or a movie date or a combination. There were times when we chose to go out as a family. What about you? How do you celebrate Valentine's Day? Do you have plans for it already?

Last week, Ferald and I attended Liwan Restaurant's Pre-Valentine's Day Event at Al Ghurair Rayhaan by Rotana.

The whole restaurant was all dressed up in red for Valentine's Day. Red hearts, white and red balloons, red table runners and red roses.

I dined several times at Liwan Restaurant and the food as always is delicious. The wide selection of dishes serves to impress not to mention the great ambiance and top notch service. I'm sure your date night will be one to remember. Liwan, despite being an all day dining restaurant has an intimate feel to it hence an ideal venue to take a loved one this Valentine's Day.

Arabic and international dishes are presented beautifully in each respective stations. Writing this makes me hungry, to be honest. There are plenty of dishes to choose from.

 It was my husband's first time at Liwan but he was satisfied with the food and with the look and feel of the place. Certainly, a good place to impress a date and easy on your pocket too.
