Our itinerary included a visit to Wadi Wurayah followed by a stop at Al Bidya Mosque in Khor Fakkan, which is recognized as the oldest mosque in the region. This mosque stands out for its unique architectural design, particularly its roof composed of four pointed domes that are upheld by an internal pillar. Constructed using stone and mud bricks and coated with several layers of whitewashed plaster, the mosque's radiocarbon analysis dates its construction as early as 1446 AD.
Additionally, atop the hill lies a small castle that holds significant archaeological value. We climbed the hill to capture some memorable photographs.
