Sharjah Open Beach

We experienced foggy mornings twice last week which only indicates the changing of the season.

This week was a bit humid though. We are happy to welcome this change for we know that the best is yet to come.

WINTER - our favorite season here in the UAE. But before we cover up and add layers to our clothing, let us first enjoy the milder summer weather by hitting the beach. Now is the best time to go swimming without the fear of burning your skin, it is advisable go there early morning or late afternoon.

We took our kids to an open beach in Sharjah two Saturdays ago at around 6 am in the morning. The wind was cool and the water, still warm and calm. Small waves crashing on the shore and were only made because of the boats passing by. An early morning trip to the beach is always a good idea.

Our little Prince is a brave young boy. He wasn't scared of the water at all. Mica was hesitant but couldn't resist the water and joined us.

We stayed an hour and left just before the sun was up. We picked some nice sea shells for Mica's scrapbook and headed home.

Days like this with the family is just incredible.
