Al Khazzan Cadillac Park was built in the 1980s. It's one of the few community parks that Dubai, Satwa rather, has back then that offers greenery for relaxation with the 40-meter high water tank that serves as its landmark. The old park was demolished a few years ago and was rebuilt to become the first "zero energy" park in the emirate

The new Al Khazzan Park runs on full solar energy, thanks to the solar energy collected from the sun through an area of more than 400m2 of PV panels. The energy collected provides electricity for the building, automatic irrigation systems, and park lighting at night.
It is now home to the newest cafe in town, Inn the Park, from the creators of Bystro on Sheikh Zayed Road.
Exhausted from Ferald's full morning medical check-up, we went straight to check out this "green" cafe for a quick brunch before I head back to work.
Inn The Park is a green patch (literally) in the middle of the city, with a chilled and relaxed atmosphere, a great skyline to boot, a delicious organic menu, and free Wifi.
The coffee that they serve here is RAW coffee products, one of the most popular brands of coffee in the country.
Unable to choose from the small but perfectly curated menu, we asked the waitstaff for the best seller.
Eggs Benedict (muffins, beef bacon, poached organic eggs, and hollandaise sauce)
Smashed avocado (organic poached eggs, feta, mint, avocado, and grilled asparagus)
Organic boiled eggs and soldiers, white sourdough, and hollandaise
Ultimate brunch for a hungry couple, made perfect by its green surroundings, literally and figuratively.
We tucked in, savoring our delicious first meal of the day.
I work nearby and my colleague already agreed with me that we will visit soon. I also promised the kids I'll take them, to eat and play, so for sure, we will be back.
